Just one More....

As long as you think happiness and peace are found in:

One more experience

One more shopping trip

One more relationship

One more movie

One more job

One more friend

One more church

One more vacation

One more game

One more break

One more house

One more vehicle

One more child

One more check on social media

One more windfall

One more degree

One more drug,

One more piece of chocolate

One more or another something,

Jesus will PREVENT you from finding peace and happiness as a MERCY towards you. Indeed the very composition and fabric of your soul will prevent you from finding peace and happiness. It is a built in idol busting design from a loving and jealous Creator. He is jealous for you and You are His beloved. He wants no rival for your affections, or for Him to be confused with any other SOURCE. Indeed He is the well spring, the Beginning and End of each of us.

You will find no contentment

UNTIL

You go to the One person and the One place

Where your Soul finds rest in

God Alone.

You will know no peace, until you lay hold of the

Prince of Peace

And surrender your Heart and Needs and Wants and Worth to Him Alone.

Just go ahead and surrender. You can run, but you cannot hide from the eyes that are searching the ends of the earth for you, because He loves you. Won't you Come sit at His feet, lay hold of His hand and Rest awhile. He's there waiting for you, joyfully expecting you, at the place where your soul finally finds a Home.
